Deborah Reavis

January 10, 1952 — November 4, 2021

Deborah Garner Reavis, 69, of Gastonia, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Debbie was born January 10, 1952 in Cary, NC to the late Henry Hillard Garner and the late Ruth Overcash Garner.  Debbie was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Amis Reavis, Jr. and daughter, Amy Michelle Reavis.

Debbie enjoyed working at McGill Child Development Center for more than 27 years.  She enjoyed crocheting and going to the beach.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughters.  She was a member of United Wesleyan Church, Charlotte, and enjoyed teaching AWANA.

Survivors include son, Scott Reavis of Gastonia, NC; son, Will Reavis and wife, Kelly, of Winder, GA; and granddaughters, Brandilyn Reavis, Riley Reavis, and Sydney Reavis.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel, officiated by Rev. Patrick Dagenhart.  Burial will follow at West Concord Cemetery.
