Debra Dameron

Debra Lynn Dameron, 54, of Concord, NC passed away suddenly on May 20, 2021.  Debra (Debbie) was born on February 1, 1967 in Washington D.C. to Walter and Delores Curtis and was raised in Laurel, Maryland. She moved to Charlotte, NC where she attended Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing and then earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Queens College.  Debbie was a nurturing and kind-hearted person with a desire to care for others.  Debbie loved animals, enjoyed the outdoors and working in the yard.

She was preceded in death by her father Walter H. Curtis, Jr.  She is survived by her two sons, Jamie and Connor, daughter Madison, loving mother Delores Curtis, two sisters Cheryl Curtis, Michelle Kaye and husband Scott, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord, NC on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass will be held on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
