Debra Griffin
June 28, 1960 — September 16, 2017
Debra Moore Griffin, 57 years of age, of Marshville, passed away surrounded by family and close personal friends, Friday, September 15, 2017 at Carolinas HealthCare System Union in Monroe.
Debra was born June 28, 1960 in Oregon to the late Bennie Lynwood Moore and the late Bonita Mae Moore.
The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
Debra was a loving wife, mother, sister, Maw-Maw and devoted teacher. She blessed the lives of many in her community and touched many more through her teaching of nursing assistants and impacting the care of patients at Stanly Manor of Albemarle as Director of Nursing.
Survivors include husband, Stephen Douglas Griffin of Marshville; son, John William (Adrianne) Galliher of Kingsland, GA; daughter, Tamara (Terry) Bedford of Pfafftown, NC; son, Ryan Galliher of Norwood; daughter, Deidra (Matt) Galliher-Harris of Marshville; son, Ian Griffin of Caesar, NC; daughter, Leslie (Mike) Nadeau of Cameron, NC; sister, Karen (Tommy Wallace) Moore of Albemarle; niece, Keely Brown of Albemarle; nephew Dean Wallace of Albemarle; 15 grandchildren; and one great-niece.
