Debra Harvey

Debra Kay Whitley Harvey, 60 years of age, of Waxhaw, NC passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System Union in Monroe.

Mrs. Harvey was born April 12, 1956 to Daphne Almond Smith and the late Clinton Eugene Whitley. In addition to her father Debra was also preceded in death by her husband, Zeanus Harvey; son, Zeanus Eugene Harvey and sister, Lisa Cline.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel, officiated by Rev. Gene Mullis. Burial will follow in the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include: son, James Ray (Jessica Walker) Harvey; fiancée, Norman Ray Kiser; mother, Daphne Smith and brother, Ronald Eugene Whitley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospitality House of Charlotte.
