Debra Ann Lemke, 50, of Concord went home to be with her Lord on October 7, 2009. She passed peacefully into the arms of her savior, surrounded by family in her home, following a four year battle with ovarian cancer. She used her cancer as a testimony with her friends, through her church, in the community, and on her website, and even on her worst days she trusted Jesus and praised His name to anyone who would listen. Debbie was born in Omaha, NE, attended school in Illinois and Indiana and had lived and worked in many different parts of the country but North Carolina had become her home. She loved the friendly people, the beautiful scenery, and the sense of belonging that she felt at work and in her church. She had many passions including Native American art, jewelry, cooking, beadwork, and collecting teddy bears. She loved to share her favorite things with all who were around her. Debbie is survived by her husband, Charles Price, her mother, Lorraine Lemke, her father, Kenneth Lemke, her sister and brother, Cheryl and Jason Lemke, and her niece and nephews, Rachel and Ricky Davis and Riley, Trevor, Gavin, and Max Lemke.
