Dee Ann Efird, age 45 of 221 N. Long St, Oakboro, NC 28128, passed away on May 08, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord. She was born in Stanly County on June 15, 1964. Dee Ann Efird was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dee and Martha Brooks; paternal grandparents, Earl and Dorothy Efird; nephew, Tanner Davis. The family will meet at the home, 221 N. Long St. Oakboro, NC 28129. Visitation will be Sunday, May 9, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. Funeral service will held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 02:00 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, 522 N. 2nd, Albemarle NC. Burial at Oakboro Cemetery. Dee Ann Efird was survived by her parents, mother, Marie Brooks Efird and father, Frederick Earl Efird, Jr., of the home; sister, Kim Terry and husband Joey of Reidsville NC.;her loving aunt, Mae Brooks of Oakboro, NC; her nephew, Sam Davis and wife Emily of Kingsport, TN; niece, Riley McMillian and husband Doug of Eden, NC; and great nephews, Declan McMillian, Elijah Davis, Micah Davis, her great niece, Cayden McMillian
