Dee Huneycutt

Dee William “D.W.” Huneycutt age 53 of 24369 Austin Rd, Albemarle, NC passed away on Thursday, Sept 2, 2010 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. He was born December 31, 1956 in Stanly County, NC. He was preceded in death by his father, D.C. Honeycutt. Mr. Huneycutt was a cattle and poultry farmer and a member of Canton Baptist Church. His life was his family and farming. He is survived by his wife, Debra Ann Huneycutt of the home; mother, Vera Jewell Bowers Honeycutt, daughters; Stephanie Ann Huneycutt Bowers and husband Christopher M. Bowers of Albemarle, Sara Ann Huneycutt of Albemarle, Brittney Ann Huneycutt of Albemarle and godson, Christopher A. McKean, brothers, Darrell Honeycutt, Herbert “Hub” Honeycutt, Dwight “Ike” Huneycutt, D.C. Huneycutt, Jr. all of Albemarle; sisters, Brenda Harkey, Kay Helms, Connie Dennis, Julie Souther all of Albemarle, Bonnie Brown of Troy; five grandchildren, Kallie D. Sells, Cameron L. Bowers, Jeffrey A. Gardiner, Jr. (Chunk Monk), Larsen A. McKean, Chloe B. Bowers. Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 5, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with a 30 minute state at Canton Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
