Della Hallman

Della Eudy Hollis Hallman age 82 of 12175 Elder Eudy Rd, Oakboro, NC passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Tucker House of Kannapolis, NC. She was born May 28, 1928 in Stanly County, NC to the late Elder Jason Adam Eudy and Dora Anner Huneycutt Eudy. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Marshall Francis Hollis. Mrs. Hallman was a member of Big Lick Baptist Church where she served on various committees and was WMU Director in the Stanly Baptist Association during the 1980’s. She also served as a Sunday school teacher for the Senior Ladies class at Big Lick Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Paul Ross Hallman, Sr of the home; step-sons, Paul Ross Hallman, Jr. of Burnsville, Benny Hallman of Chapel Hill, Timothy Hallman of Durham, and Darby Hallman of Concord; brother, Jack Eudy and wife Lois of Locust; 7 step grandchildren and 12 step great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 10 to 11 am at Big Lick Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Funeral will follow at 11:00 am at Big Lick Baptist Church with a 1 hour state prior to the service, Rev. Jeff Springer and Dr. Kinney Wallace will officiate. Burial will follow at Big Lick Baptist Church Cemetery.
