Delmer Lambert

Delmer Reece Lambert, age 75, of Concord, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House of Kannapolis. Mr.Lambert was born April 18, 1938 to the late David Reece Lambert and Merley Lambert. In additon to his parents he is proceded in death by a son, Terry Lambert and a sister, Alice Honeycutt. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord on Thursday, July 25, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Steve Pennington and Rev. Buck Canup will be held on Friday, July 26, 2013 at 2:00pm in Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord Chapel. Burial will follow at the Harrisburg Baptist Church at 6525 Moorehead Rd, Harrisburg. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Marie Lambert of Concord; three sons, David Lambert and wife Rhonda of Kannapolis, Dennis Lambert of the home and Jerry Lambert and wife Sharon of Concord; five grandchildren, Angela Bracey, Missy Lambert, Whitney Hawkins, Megan Lambert and Spencer Lambert; three great grandchildren, Cadence Hawkins, Macie Hawkins and Kenzley Sherrill; a brother, Ray Lambert and wife Sarah of Harrisburg and a sister, Judy Furr and husband Robert of Harrisburg.
