Dolores Poplin

Dolores Poplin, 67, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 at in Albemarle.

Dolores was born September 16, 1957 in New York to the late Alvah Edison Gero and Carmen Soucy Peters. 

She was also preceded in death by sons, Adam Tyndall and Justin Tyndall.

Survivors include husband, Bruce "Woody" Elwood Poplin, II; her mother, Carmen Soucy Peters; granddaughter, Shelby Tyndall; and friends, Alysha Greene, Amy Coe, and Renae Buller.

Dolores was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed taking long trips in her RV, going as far as the West Coast and going on motorcycle rides. Dolores also enjoyed shooting guns and was an avid painter and had a green thumb when it came to tending to her plants.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Faith, Dolores' Social Worker, and Suzanne, her hospice nurse, and to her dear friend, Pam Hagler.
