Denver Higgins

Denver Allen Higgins, 42, of Midland, NC, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011, in Warrenton, NC. Mr. Higgins was born October 2, 1968, in Kanawha County, West Virginia. He was the owner of Denver Higgins Contracting of Midland. The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m., Thursday, August 25, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel of Midland, officiated by Rev. Jimmie Bartley. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Hudnall Higgins; son, Corey Higgins, of Midland; daughter, Chelsea Higgins of Handley, West Virginia; parents, Willis David and Norma Jean Odell Higgins of Dunbar, West Virginia; grandchildren, Kali and Maddison Higgins; grandmother, Nellie Odell of Gassaway, WV; and sister, Paula Jean Day, of Red House, WV. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is assisting the Higgins family.
