Devin Brice Doster, 24 years of age, of Concord, passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017.
Devin was born October 18, 1992 in North Carolina to the late Jimmie Leo Daugherty and Michelle Halsey. He was also preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Wanda Williams and step grandfather, Pete Williams.
The family will receive friends Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord.
Survivors include his mother, Michelle Halsey and step father Aaron Halsey of Concord; brother, TJ Doster; sister, Tiffany Gail Thompson; step brothers, Scott Thompson, Christopher Edwards, Dustin Edwards and Alex Edwards; maternal grandfather, Rick Moore; niece, Kayleigh Doster and two gentlemen who raised Devin like a son, Winfield Thompson and Robert Edwards.
Devin graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School and participated in the band and JROTC. He always had a smile on his face, made his friends laugh and had a big heart for others.
