Diane Bauer

Diane Lynn Dillon Bauer, 78, of Harrisburg, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte.

Mrs. Bauer was born February 19, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York to the late John Wesley Dillon and the late Margaret Featherstone Dillon.

She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years, Frederick George Bauer.

The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8, Thursday, February 10th, 2022 at Hartsell Funeral Home located at 12115 Highway 49 south (University City Blvd) Harrisburg, North Carolina 28075. The funeral service will be on Friday, February 11th at 2pm at Providence Baptist Church located at 5315 Hwy 49 in Harrisburg NC, officiated by Dr. John Cashwell, and Reverend Rody Carland. Burial will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park in Harrisburg at 12015 Hwy 49 (University City Blvd.).

Survivors include sisters Pat Rathje and Nancy Colpitts, 8 nieces and nephews as well as one nephew William Gene Southard who preceded Diane in death.
