Diane Foutz

Diane Cecille Foutz, 73, of 2855 Cannon Farm Rd., China Grove, passed away on October 22, 2009 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Born in Greensboro on June 25, 1936, she attended A. L. Brown High School. She retired from Conway Freight where she worked in Human Resources. She was formerly assistant terminal manager of Fredrickson Motor Express of Charlotte, and she was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in China Grove. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Eston Cornelius, her mother Marzetta Blosser Cornelius, and her grandaughter Leah Ellen Marks of Birmingham, AL. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 26 from 12:30 until 2:00 PM at Concordia Lutheran Church Family Life Center, located at 185 Concordia Church Road. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at Concordia Lutheran Church, with Rev. Ken Reed and Rev. Larry Bost officiating. Burial will be at Concordia Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will be meeting at the home. She is survived by her husband F.L. Foutz, Jr. of the home; her daughter Debbie Sims and husband, John of Chelsea, AL; her sister Jacquelyn Marie Cornelius of Gardendale, Al; her sister-in-law Polly Stirewalt of Rockwell; her mother-in-law Maude H. Foutz of Rockwell; her brother-in-law Bobby Foutz and wife, Gail of Davidson; and her grandchildren Jennifer Fillippeli & Lauren Marks of Birmingham AL.
