Diane Lippard Caldwell

Diane Lippard Caldwell age 80 of Concord NC, passed away July, 10, 2023 at St. Andrews Living Center of natural causes.  Diane was born June 17, 1943 in Concord, NC to Walter A. Lippard of Rimertown, Cabarrus County, NC and Ethel Huntley Lippard of Monroe, Union County, NC.  Diane was a seventh generation Cabarrus County resident who graduated from Concord High School and remained in her hometown throughout her entire lifetime where she enjoyed a life that valued family and friendships.

Diane was preceded in death by her husband Ken Caldwell, her sisters Hope Lippard Lackey and Betsy Lippard Brady as well as her two brothers Bud and Max Lippard.  She is survived by her son Jason Cagle and wife Holly of Concord, her grandson Griffin Cagle, her sister Janet Lippard Mayse of Burlington, as well as a number of nieces and nephews throughout North Carolina.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the staff at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord for their loving care as well as the frequent visits from the Associate Pastor and members of Forest Hill United Methodist Church.

Hartsell Funeral Home handled the arrangements for a private graveside service and burial held at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
