Dianne Plowman

Dianne Aldridge Plowman, 78, of Mount Pleasant, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at her home.

Dianne was born March 13, 1947, in North Carolina to the late Jason Aldridge and the late Marie Carriker Aldridge.

She was also preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Ray Plowman and son, Jason Key.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The funeral service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Paul's Crossing Baptist Church in Richfield officiated by Rev. Mark Little and Rev. Marc Sessions. Burial will immediately follow at the Paul's Crossing Baptist Church Cemetery at 40461 Paul's Crossing Road, Richfield.

Dianne loved spending time with her family. She also was an avid reader and loved to play the piano - she played piano at the church until she was unable to. Dianne worked for Atrium Stanly for over 30 years until she retired and became the "grandma-mobile" taking care of her grandchildren.

Survivors include daughter, Michelle Shue (Tony) of New London, NC; grandchildren, Austin Shue (fiancé Breezy Gregory) of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Emily Shue of New London, NC; and her beloved basset hound named "Angel".
