Dilia Dasilva

Dilia DaSilva, 83, of Concord, NC (formerly of Queens, NY) passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019.

Dilia was born February 27, 1936 in Fredonia, Colombia, to the late Jorge Jimenez Cardenas and the late Gabriela Callejas Montoya.

She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Ines, Jose Miguel, Fabio, Jairo, Aurelio and twin sister Gilma.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Michael Tamarit and wife Aimee of Concord, NC; daughter Miriam Cecilia Kisch and husband Thomas; daughter Margarita Tamarit; grandchildren, Joseph, Tae, Isabela, Thomas, Justin, Gabriel and Megan; sisters Aura and Gilma; and brother Gonzalo; as well as the father of her children Jose Tamarit.

Funeral services will be held in North Carolina and she will be laid to rest in New York at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dilia's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
