Dolan Lee Sides

Dolan Lee Sides, 84, of Albemarle, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Tucker Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County in Kannapolis.

Mr. Sides was born on May 19, 1940, to the late Lee Coy and Jewell Hatley Sides. 

Dolan will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He had a passion for farming and found great joy on the seat of his John Deere tractor, tending to his cows. His love for the outdoors, his integrity, and his unwavering commitment to his loved ones defined his character. Dolan leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and dedication. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service will be on held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 2:00 pm, at Salem Methodist Church, 20987 NC 73 Hwy, Albemarle, officiated by Pastor Neill Shaw.

Survivors include wife of 63 years, Jane Sides; daughter, Tammy Johns and husband, Vincent; son, Eric Sides and wife, Jill; grandsons, Wesley Morgan and wife, Katrina, Ross Morgan, Matthew Sides, Joshua Sides; great-grandson, Bentley Cooke; nephew, Joseph Adams and wife Paige.
