Don Wayne Clontz, 77 years of age, of Stanfield, went home to be with his Lord Sunday, May 15, 2016.
Don was born June 29, 1938 in Union County, NC to the late Aubrey Bill Clontz and the late Myrtle Clontz. He was also preceded in death by Madge Clontz; as well as his granddaughter Lizzie Clontz.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Bobbie Clontz; daughter Sherrie Treece; son Jeff Clontz and wife Tammy; grandsons Matthew and Zachery; brother Avery Clontz and wife Karen; sister Kay Starnes and husband Bill; sister Pat Simpson and husband Ed; as well as three nephews Todd Clontz, Patrick and Kyle Starnes.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Kinza Memorial Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Darrell Nance. Burial will take place at the Kinza Memorial Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
