Dona Pressley

Dona Coley Pressley, age 60 of Albemarle, NC passed away on August 16, 2011 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday, August 18, 2011. At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Tera Bevins, 30458 Cane Drive, Albemarle. The funeral will be at Immanuel Baptist on Friday, August 19 at 11am, officiated by Rev Joe Smith with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at Stanly Gardens. Mrs. Pressley was born in Stanly County on September 2, 1950, to the late John McKinley Coley and Neasie Mae Burris Coley Richardson of Mt. Gilead. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry Brown Pressley of the home; son, Kenneth Larry Pressley and wife Rebecca of Salisbury; daughter, Tera Bevins and husband Joe of Albemarle; grandchildren, K.J. Pressley and Casey Pressley; great grandchild, Dylilah; sisters, Brenda Lowery of Mt. Gilead and Wanda Coley of Valdese; half brother, Toby Coley of Albemarle. Mrs. Pressley was last employed as a clerk with Stanly Regional Medical Center and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
