Donald Gerard Belofski

Donald Gerard Belofski, 78, of Concord, NC, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2024, at his home.

Don was born April 28, 1946, in Bronx, NY to the late Donald William Belofski and the late Mary Elizabeth (Houst) Belofski. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ann Belofski; granddaughter, Melia Marie Belofski; and brother, Mike Belofski.

Survivors include, daughter, Michelle Lynn Belofski; sons, Steven Gerard Belofski and Kevin Gerard Belofski, all of Concord, NC; grandchildren, Brandon, Kyle, Alex, Joseph, Kendall, Kayla, Janelle; sisters, Donna Benjamin and Maryann Malamas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Don proudly served in the United States Air Force, was a Vietnam Veteran and was subjected to Agent Orange. He retired from IBM and Wachovia with a rewarding career as a computer programmer and IT specialist, always providing for his family. Don was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, a devoted Catholic and Eucharistic Minister. He was a proud man, full of wisdom and guidance but amongst all, Don was a loving husband, father and friend.

The family will greet friends at 10:00 - 10:45am, Monday, December 16, 2024, at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, 139 Manor Avenue SW, Concord, NC 28025. A memorial mass will follow at 11:00am, officiated by Rev. Luyen Dau. Burial will take place at St. James the Greater Catholic Church Cemetery, 2323 Gold Hill Road, Concord, NC, with Military Honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made on Don's behalf to the Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County, 2010 Wilshire Ct. SW, Concord, NC 28025.
