Donald Dixon, Sr

Donald James “Don” Dixon, Sr., 74, of Concord, passed away on Friday, November 25th at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Donald was born on April 27, 1937 in San Francisco, California, to the late Benjamin and Eleanor Dixon. He was a linesman with the Southern Bell Telephone Company and later retired from NASCAR as an official in The Camping World Truck Series. There are no scheduled services at this time. Donald is survived by his wife, Judy Fish Dixon of the home; son, Donald James Dixon, Jr. of TN; step-daughters, Jane Barry (John)of CT, Jill Abell (Mark) of Concord, and June Rondeau of CT; step-son, Jeffrey Rondeau (Linda)of CT; sisters, Dixie Mesick, and Judy Dixon both of FL; 7 grandchildren.
