Donald Hill

Donald Milas "Don" Hill, 82, of 113 Marshdale Avenue Concord, NC 28025 passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Rowan Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 2, 1929 in Stanly County to the late M. Pete and Zona Stallings Hill. He was also preceded in death by his wife Sue Brooks Hill in 2001. Mr. Hill was owner and operator of Concord TV Service and a counselor at Jackson Training School. He served in the Navy during WWII, and was a member of the Cabarrus Masonic Lodge 720. The family meeting place will be at the home of his son Terry Hill 6340 Breezy Lane Concord. A visitation will be held at Hartsell Funeral Home in Concord on Sunday, August 21, 2011 from 5 until 7 PM. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 7 PM, with Rev. Tom Whidden officiating. He is survived by: son, Terry Hill and wife Tammy of Concord; daughter, Cynthia Thomas and husband Doug of Concord; brother, Wade Hill of New London; grandchildren, David Hill, Jennifer Simpson and Jeremy Edwards; six great-grandchildren; and loving companion, Silver.
