Donald Mcghee

Donald Eugene McGhee, 72 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Presbyterian Hospital Main-Charlotte in Charlotte.

Don was born May 28, 1943 in West Virginia to the late Marlin McGhee and the late Pearle Blankenship McGhee.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Albemarle. The funeral service will be on Monday at 1:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Joe Smith.. Burial will follow at the Stanly Gardens of Memory at 2001 East Main St., Albemarle.

Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Pearlie Yvonne McGhee of Albemarle; two sons, Darrell McGhee and wife Melissa, and Dale McGhee and wife, Lee Ann, both of Albemarle; daughter, Donna Hinson and husband, Jeff, of Oakboro; grandson, Jeffrey Hatley and wife Emily; granddaughter, Laura Carpenter and husband Rodney; grandson, Greg McGhee and wife Marissa; grandson, Brandon Hinson and wife Shannon; grandson, Bradley Hinson; four great grandchildren, and one great great grandson.
