Donald Readling

Donald "Don" A. Readling, 83 years of age, of Stanfield, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.

Don was born May 10, 1932 in Cabarrus County to the late Joseph Ulysses Readling and the late Alice Miller Readling.
He was also preceded in death by twin brother, Ronald Readling, and sister, Ruth Kerr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. The funeral service will be on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Philadelphia Baptist Church in Stanfield and will be officiated by Rev. Dwight Mabry. Burial will follow at the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery at 12568 Philadelphia Church Rd., Stanfield.

Survivors include wife, Brenda Sue Readling of Stanfield; son, Donald "Revon" (Diane) Readling of Wrightsville, PA; son, Randy (Sheri) Readling of Greensboro; son, Timothy (Jeninne) Readling of Concord; four grandsons, TJ, Joshua, Zachary, and Kristopher Readling, and great-grandson, Asher Readling.
