Donald Alexander Rhodes Turner, 81 years of age, of Mint Hill, passed away Monday, January 26, 2015 at Pavillion Health Center at Brightmore in Charlotte.
Donald was born February 15, 1933 in Stanly County to the late George McKinley Turner and the late Lula Mae Turner. He was also preceded in death by wife, Pat Crump Turner; daughter, Debra Lynn Gyles;son, Donald Keith Turner; and sisters, Newell Broadway and Doris Tucker.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday January 30, 2015 at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland . The funeral service officiated by Rev. David Turner will be at 1:00 PM in the Chapel. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Rd., Charlotte.
He is survived by daughter, Sandra Turner King of Waxhaw; grandson, Brandon Bousman; granddaughters, Tammy Bousman, and Leslie Connell; three great grandchildren; brother, Theron Turner of Mint Hill; and sister, Meldona Turner of Charlotte.
