Donna Easter

Donna Gail Payne Easter, age 66 of 109 Danritch Drive, Richfield, NC, passed away on October 22, 2010 at Hospice of Union County. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, on Sunday from 6 to 8. At other times the family will be at her home. Funeral service will be at West Albemarle Baptist Church on Monday at 2 PM with a 30 minute state. Rev. Adam Hatley and Rev. Allen Hall will officiate. Burial will be in Norview Gardens, Norwood, NC. Born June 9, 1944 in Oxford County, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Erwin Milford Payne and the late Christina Roma Burgess Payne. She was a retired assembler for GE. She was a member of West Albemarle Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Wilfred “Bill” Herbert Easter, Jr. of Denton; sons, Brent Easter of New London and wife Stephanie of Southmont and Jason Easter and wife Sarah of Wingate; daughters, Pam Dennis of Monroe and Sherry Nance and husband Tim of Albemarle; adopted daughter, Tammy Cox of Monroe; sister, Lynne Chandler of New London and 7 grandchildren.
