Donna Hamilton

Donna Sellers Hamilton, 74,  passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 peacefully while sleeping in her home in Midland, NC.

Donna was born February 12, 1944.  She graduated with honors from Appalachian State and went on to teach High School honors English & Literature for many years.  Donna was a talented artist, fabulous cook, and won her fair share of beauty contests in her day!  She loved spending time at her beach house with family, and cherished her friends and Pastor, Mark Clontz, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Midland.  Donna lived life with a fiery passion and loved her family and friends just the same.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank & Evelyn Sellers, and her sister, Rebecca Patchen.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Hamilton; daughter, Melissa (Jim) Morelli; brother, Tom (Anne) Sellers; sister, Beth (Todd) Stegall; and granddaughter, Alyssa Morelli.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Bethel United Methodist Church, officiated by Rev. Mark Clontz.  Burial will follow at the Lakeland Memorial Park, 1901 Lancaster Ave., Monroe, NC 28110.
