Donna Kerr

Donna Sue Darnley Kerr, 72, of Midland, NC passed away Sunday, December 24, 2017 at her daughter's home in Stanfield, NC.

Donna was born December 26, 1944 in Newport News, VA to the late Cambridge Leroy Darnley, Jr. and the late Shirley Lee Mays Darnley. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Thomas Kerr; and daughter, Mary Dawn Jones.

The funeral service to celebrate her life will be at her brother Benny's home in Yorktown, VA at 7pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017.

She is survived by her daughters, Lesley Jones and husband Jeff, Karla Sue Jones Blair; step-sons, Jeff Kerr, Gary Kerr and wife Christie, George Kerr and wife Yvette; grandchildren, Megan, Bryce, Tristen, Maddie, Cameron, Peyton, Chelsea, Justin; great-grandchildren, Tucker and Jase; twin brother, Cam Darnley; brother, Benny Darnley and wife Joann; sister, Cathy Stuman and husband Doug; and numerous nieces and nephews,.

Donna was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She was full of life and enjoyed a good celebration and cooking for the masses. She also loved to travel. Donna will be missed by all those who knew her.
