Donnie Smith

Donnie Mae Smith, 83 years of age, of Concord, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at First Assembly Living Center in Concord.

Donnie was born October 17, 1932 in North Carolina to the late Charlie B Kee and the late Cora Cranford. She was also preceded in death by husband, Lewis R. Smith and her daughter, Julie Ann Widenhouse.

The funeral service will be Thursday, December 10 at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord, officiated by Rev. Buck Canup. The family will receive friends following the service.

Survivors include daughter, Judy Irene Widenhouse Browning of Concord; two sister-in-laws, Jatanna (Sonny) Tarlton of Concord, Martha (Buck) Canup of Concord; brother-in-law, H M (Ellaruth) Smith; step daughter, Myra Redding of Concord; grandson, David (Lori) Huffman; great grandchildren, Keith and Abby Huffman; two step grandaughters, Meredith and Mallory; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to Tucker Hospice House, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC
