Dora Efird

Dora Faye Efird, 94, of Mount Pleasant, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, at her home in Mount Pleasant.

Ms. Efird was born on June 30, 1928, to the late James William and Lillie Hatley Lambert. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gladwell Newell Efird; sister, Helen Meggs; brothers, Billy Lambert, Reece Lambert.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:45 pm, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Hartsell Funeral Home, 460 Branchview Drive, NE, Concord. The funeral service will follow the chapel at 2:00 pm, officiated by Rev. Ardy Skidmore. Burial will conclude at the Carolina Memorial Park Kannapolis, Hwy. 29N at I85, Exit 58, Concord.

Survivors include, daughters, Deborah Bradford and husband Ray of Mt. Pleasant, NC., LuAnn Foster and husband Gary of Kula, HI; grandchildren, Heather, Christopher, David, Laura; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC. 28081.

Faye is now in the hands of her Lord and Savior.
