Dora Love

Dora Jean Love, 73, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at her home.

Dora was born March 13, 1948 in Missouri to the late Willard Stockwell and the late Mary Lou Elder Stockwell.

Survivors include husband, Toby Glenn Love of Albemarle, NC, daughter, Tiffany Fowler of Albemarle, NC, Tammy Tyner of Wichita, KS, and Marshall Crews of Booneville, MO, grandchildren, Katie Culbreth of Albemarle, NC, Matthew Tyner of Wilmington, NC, Brandon Bowers of Moore, SC, Christopher Curran of Myrtle Beach, SC, great-grandchildren, Kylie White of Albemarle, NC and Kaleb Almond of Albemarle, NC.

Dora loved to cook, do laundry, go grocery shopping and any kind of shopping. She was always helping others and never met a stranger. Dora worked at Oakboro Kid's Club Daycare and Quality Childcare in Oakboro for over 12 years. She also worked at the Corner Laundromat for over 10 years and the Friendly Mart gas station for over 7 years. Dora loved spending time with her family and loved loving on her great-grandbabies and her grandkids were her world.

Memorial donations can be made on behalf of the Love family to help with funeral expenses.
