Doris Eudy
July 2, 1937 — January 8, 2017
Doris Hatley Eudy, 79 years of age, of New London, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Eudy was born July 2, 1937 in Stanly County to the late Ernest Clyde Hatley and the late Luna Belle Hatley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jasper A. Eudy, and a brother, MC Hatley.
Doris was a fun loving person who loved spending time outdoors.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM , Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle. The graveside service will be on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery at 24696 Hwy 73, in Albemarle officiated by Rev. Bob Cauble.
Survivors include daughters, Sabrina Baylous and husband Rodney and Elaine E. Drye and husband David both of New London; granddaughters, Jessica M. Huneycutt and Amber Baylous; a grandson, David L.Drye and wife Nicole; great grandchildren, Madison and Kainyn Baylous, Harper Smith, Jasper and Andrew Drye; and brothers, Earl Ray Hatley, Sherrell Hatley, and Derrell Hatley.
