Doris Haynes

Doris Carter Foster Haynes, 90, of Concord, went to live with the angels Friday, March 11, 2022 from her home.  She worked in retail for many years in which she thoroughly enjoyed.  In her spare time, she would be found in the middle of a great book and she absolutely enjoyed spending time with her family.  Doris will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Doris was born February 16, 1932 in North Carolina to the late James Lawson Carter and the late Edna Elizabeth Carter.
She was also preceded in death by husbands Clarence E. Foster Sr. and Ralph B. Haynes; daughter, Vanessa Barnhardt; and brother Ted Carter.

Survivors include son, Ed Foster of Concord, NC.  daughter, Ann Foster Scott , Six grandkids, 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Neal, Merita Lefler; and brother, Coy Carter.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 at 2pm located at Carolina Memorial Park in Kannapolis NC.
