Doris Helmer

Doris Elizabeth Wall Helmer, 97, of 3700 Pitts School Road Concord, NC passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at The Gardens of Taylor Glen. She was born on June 29, 1913 in Prospect New York to the late Thomas and Edna Rathbun Wall. She was also preceded in death by her husband Earl William Helmer on December 13, 2010. Doris worked in the tax department of Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY. A Memorial service will be held at The Gardens of Taylor Glen Chapel on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11 AM, with Rev. Harold McDonald officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Prospect Cemetery in New York. She is survived by: niece, Sue Ireland of Concord.
