Dorothy Clark

Dorothy Elizabeth Clark, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, 87, passed April 24, 2020 in Matthews, North Carolina.

Dorothy was born on July 25, 1932 in Campbell, New York the daughter of the late Trillis Fisk Chapin and Robert Fisk.

She grew up very close to her siblings, Robert, Irene, Grace, Marion, Pauline, Doris and Phyllis.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Bernard, and sons Donald and Bruce.

She is survived by her son, Ronald, 6 grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Stacey, Kevin, Robert and Elizabeth and 7 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy loved to listen to country and blue grass music.She was especially fond of her brother-in-laws’ band, Mississippi Gamblers. She was an avid gardener
and took pride in her flowers around her house. She loved to play 500 rummy cards and up until the end of her life she played each weekend.

Dorothy spent the last years of her life living in North Carolina near her son and his family. She talked often about her home in New York. She lived a simple life always surrounded by family.

Dorothy will be buried next to her husband in Hope Cemetery, Campbell, New York.
