Dorothy High

Dorothy Stegall Eudy High, 90, of Albemarle, NC, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011, in the Lutheran Home, Albemarle, NC. Mrs. Eudy High was born November 4, 1920, in Anson County. She was preceded in death by husband, Fred Philip Eudy; husband, Rev. Avery E. High; father, Willie William Stegall; and mother, Bessie Martha Jane Benton Stegall. She was a member of West Albemarle Baptist Church. There will be a visitation 6 - 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 10, at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. The family will also receive friends 3 – 4 p.m., Wednesday at Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church, with the funeral beginning at 4:00 p.m., officiated by Elder Newell Helms and Elder Eddie Fowler. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Survivors are her son, Fred Michael Eudy and wife, Kay, of Locust; brother, Glenn Stegall, of Florida; and sister, Ruth Bost, of Concord.
