Dorothy Huneycutt

Dorothy Huneycutt, age 78 of Albemarle, passed away on October 8, 2011 at the Lutheran Home. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle on Sunday, October 9 from 6pm until 8pm. At other times, the family will be at the home of her daughter, Carol Jones. The funeral service will be held in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 2pm, officiated by Pastor Bob Gruver. Burial will follow at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, Richfield. Ms. Huneycutt was born in Stanly County on August 24, 1933, to the late Hoyle and Flossie Mae Greene Fraley. She is also preceded in death by her twin sister, Doris Sides; brothers, Roy and Wayne Fraley. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jones and husband Gary of Albemarle; sister, Lorene Vanhoy of Albemarle; grandchildren, Haley Jones Stewart and husband Brian of Albemarle and Caleb Jones of Albemarle; great-grandchild, Carter Greyson Stewart of Albemarle.
