Dorothy Morton

Dorothy Lee Eudy Morton, 81, of Midland , passed away Monday, July 1, 2013 at the Brian Center in Concord. Mrs. Morton was born in Union County on May 12, 1932 to the late Jess Eudy and Illa Price Eudy. In addition to her parent she was preceded in death by a son Ronnie Lane Morton, and a granddaughter Stephanie Morton. The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home in Midland on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 10 until 11 am. Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 11 am, with Rev. Gary Wyrick officiating. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park in China Grove on Monday at 3 pm. She is survived by her husband, James Barney Morton of the home; daughter, Peggy Jackson and husband Tommy of China Grove; son's, James Morton and wife Becky of Midland , and Donnie Morton and wife Connie of Oakboro.
