Dorothy Polychrones

Dorothy Marie Polychrones, 80, of Concord, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord.

Dorothy was born November 25, 1941, in Virginia to the late Miller Sylvester Reedy and the late Violet Louise Reedy. She was also preceded in death by brother, Ronald W Reedy.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 11:00am in the Hartsell Funeral Home chapel located in Concord, officiated by Reverend Jessie Owens.

Dorothy was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. Dorothy was very active in the community and never met a stranger, always helping those in need.  Some of Dorothy favorite pastimes was reading and especially quilting. She made numerous quilts, afghans, and tablecloths some of which won awards and was particularly known for her many crochets.

Survivors include husband, Perry Polychrones of Concord, NC; sons, Perry Michael Polychrones, Jr. and Timothy Allen Polychrones; daughter, Debbie Jean Charity; sisters, Jean Carter and Nancy Mitchell; and half-sisters, Judy Benda and Barbara Patrick.
