Dorothy Walton

Lucille P. Walton, 82 years of age, of Albemarle, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Bethany Woods in Albemarle.
Mrs. Walton was born March 10, 1935 to the late Coy A. and Lucy P. Pickler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husbands, Billy Ray Thomas and James Walton, Sr. and brothers, R.C., Ray, and Bob Pickler.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm, Friday, April 14, 2017 at Hartsell Funeral Home Albemarle. The funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home's Lefler Memorial Chapel officiated by Rev. Keith Walters. Burial will follow in the Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery located at 16072 NC 138 Hwy, Norwood.
Survivors include: son, David Thomas and wife Debbie; daughter, Carolyn Pickler and husband Rock Blythe; granddaughters, Miranda T. McGlaughon, Candace T. Lowder, Melissa P. Bost, Amanda P. Starling and six great-grandchildren.
