Douglas Love

Doug was born February 27, 1961 in Stanly County to the late Clyde Love and Maureen Harvell.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Friday, May 6, 2016 at Love's Chapel United Methodist Church in Stanfield. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm at Love's Chapel United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Gene Moore and Rev. Eddie Barbee.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Renee Love; sons, Matthew Ferrell and wife Tiffany, and Landon Ferrell; grandson, Brody Ferrell; step father Tommy Harvell; brother Rodney Love and wife Leslie; and nephews, Adam and Curt Love.
Doug was loved by all and will be greatly missed. He was always there to lend a helping hand and was a jack-of- all-trades. He enjoyed going to the movies with his son. Doug's greatest joy was his grandson, Brody. His other interests included fishing, motorcycles, grilling and being with friends.
