Dr. Michelle Denise Woehr

It is with deepest sorrow that the Woehr family announces the loss of mother, wife, and friend, Dr. Michelle Denise Woehr on Monday, December 9, 2024 in Harrisburg, NC. 

Michelle was born July 18, 1961 in Fort Benning, Georgia to the late Robert B. Wilson and the late Carole June Goff Wilson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert B. Wilson II. The daughter of military family, she grew up living all over the United States and in Heidelberg, Germany. She later received her Ph.D. in Psychology at Texas A&M, where she met her husband, Dr. David J. Woehr. 

She devoted her life to helping others, working as a clinical psychologist in Knoxville, TN and Charlotte, NC until her retirement in 2011. Best known for her love of reading, puzzles, and family, Michelle will be greatly missed by those she impacted. 

Michelle is survived by husband David J. Woehr and two daughters, Leah Ai Ling Woehr and Claire Miao Woehr, and brother J. Douglas Wilson.
