Dr. Elizabeth Benavides Fajardo

Dr. Elizabeth Benavides Fajardo, age 66, of Concord, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Presbyterian Main Hospital in Charlotte.

Dr. Benavides Fajardo was born July 11, 1954 in Costa Rica to the late Juan Jose Elias Benavides Fonseca and the late Maria Santos Benita Fajardo Montiel.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Donaldo Benavides Fajardo.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Friday, January 15, 2021 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will be on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at  2:00 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, in Harrisburg, NC with Deacon Joseph Diaz will be officiating.

Survivors include son-in-law and daughter, Frank and Natalia Henry of Concord, grandchildren, Maria Paula Alfaro, Stefano Tartaglione and Marcelo Perez.  Siblings, Sandra Benavides, Maria Benavides, Orlando Benavides, Javier Benavides and Gisselle Benavides residing in Costa Rica.

Memorials may be made as an arrangement in Elizabeth’s honor or direct contribution to the immediate family, as assistance for services.
