Dustin Davis

Dustin "Eli" Davis, 35, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019 at his home.

Mr. Davis was born November 2, 1983 in Concord to Michael Davis of Concord and Jamie Morgan of Locust. His grandparents are, J.F. and Shirley Morgan of Stanfield, and the late, James and Ann Davis of Concord.

Eli was an avid dirt track racer that enjoyed racing till his final days. He had an extended "Racing Family" that cheered him on and gave him strength during his hardship. He was much admired for his brave spirit to carry on without complaint, he never gave up hope. He will be very much missed by all that knew him.

Eli leaves behind three children, all of the home, Katlyn, Summer, Landon Davis, and his wife Brittani, who stayed by his side as his caregiver. He had many loving, supportive family and friends during his battle with cancer.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, June 23, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Monday at 11:00 am at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland officiated by Rev. Gene Turner, Jr.. Burial will follow at the Clarks Grove Primitive Baptist Cemetery at Hwy. 200, Stanfield.

The family would like to send a special thank you to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Levine Cancer Center, who cared for him during this time.
