Earl Samuel Crisco

Earl Samuel Crisco, 86, of Davidson, passed away on April 11, 2025 at Atrium Health in Concord, NC.

He was born on December 15, 1938 to Doyd Preston Crisco Sr. and Rachel Blackwelder Crisco in Concord, NC. He was a member of Triplett Church, where he and wife Carolyn enjoyed many senior outings and have many friends. Earl was a retired truck driver and enjoyed traveling with his wife Carolyn. Some favorite trips were to Alaska, Hawaii and Branson Missouri. He enjoyed a yearly visit to Pigeon Forge, where he watched wildlife, enjoying seeing bears, turkeys, and deer, especially. He was an avid deer hunter, also enjoying turkey, bird and rabbit hunting.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Carolyn Crisco of Davidson, NC, children Sherry Hartsell of Concord, NC, step daughter Selena Russell (Rick) of Kannapolis, NC, step sons Robert Wright and Adrian Wright of Davidson, NC. Grandchildren Jerod Hartsell, Dillan Hartsell (Holly), Chloe Griffin and Justin Russell (Jayde)

He was preceded in death by daughter Lisa Griffin, parents Doyd P. Crisco Sr. and Rachel Crisco and brother Doyd P. Crisco Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025, 11:00 am - 12:15 pm at Triplett Church 838 Mazeppa Rd. Mooresville, NC 28115. Funeral service will be held immediately following visitation with Pastor Jim King officiating.
