Earl was a quiet man with strong Christian values.  The deep love for God, family and friends were always present. His favorite verse was John 3:16. His quiet place to be with his Maker was at his barn and pasture.  Earl accepted Jesus at the age of 15 at Big Lick Baptist Church. He was a member at First Baptist Church of Oakboro. He loved helping people whenever he could.  He loved farm life and simple life, working with his hands and his horses.

Earl worked for McGee Corp. in Matthews for 19 years working his way up to production manager.  Earl also worked for Metro Metals and Design for nine years before retiring.
Earl loved his church family at First Baptist Church in Oakboro.
Earl will be greatly missed by all of us.  Spencer loved his Pop Paw very much.  How do we go on?.. God...
