Earl Morton

Earl James Morton, of Charlotte, NC, died January 4, at his home. He was born February 28, 1928 in Stanfield, NC to the late F.E. Morton and Dratha Rothy Smith Morton. He is survived by his wife Martha Katherine Osborne Morton. A visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 7 from 1 - 2 PM with the service beginning at 2 PM at Hartsell Funeral Home - Midland. Rev. Glenn Gunter will officiate the service.Interment will be at First Baptist Church of Locust. He worked in general maintenance at INTECH Machines and was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church, Charlotte. Memorials may be made to Oakhurst Baptist Church, 5037 Monroe Rd., Charlotte, NC 28205.
