Earnie Page

Earnie Ruth Wetter Page, 96 years of age, of Concord, passed away Friday, September 2, 2016 at St. Andrews Living Center in Concord.

Ms. Page was born April 26, 1920 in Cabarrus County to the late William Bismark Wetter and the late Carrie Belle Pless Wetter. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Franklin Daniel Page; brothers, Paul, Dewey, Roy, and Worth Wetter; sisters, Ruby Burris, Hazel Linker, Ester Rinehardt; and an infant sister.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Concord. The family will also receive friends from 3:00pm - 4:00 pm on Monday, September 5, 2016 at Hartsell Funeral Home. The service, officiated by Rev. Roger Armistead, will follow at 5:00 pm at Friendship United Methodist Church, 4695 Mt. Pleasant Road S., Concord. She will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service in the church sanctuary. The burial will follow at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her nephew, Jerry Wetter and wife Kay; sister-in-law, Ruth Page; numerous other nieces and nephews; and great-niece and great-nephews.

Earnie was a highly involved member of Friendship United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting. In her younger years, she loved going on bus trips with her sisters and church family.

Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
