Edgar Tucker

Edgar "Harlan" Tucker, 67, of Monroe, NC passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Harlan was born June 26, 1950 in Monroe, NC to the late James Rufus Tucker and Colon Elmaire Tucker.

In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his loving and beautiful wife of 39 years, Becky; daughter Krystal Gillespie and husband Kevin; grandchildren Joey, Jordan and wife Summer, Alex and fiance Alicia, Tyler and Katy; brothers Logan Tucker and wife Mildred, and Eric Tucker and wife Janet; as well as numerous extended family members.  Harlan was loved by many, and will be missed by all.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 am - 11:00 am, Friday, June 1, 2018 at Hopewell Baptist Church in Monroe. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am officiated by Dr. Lee Pigg.  Burial will take place in the church cemetery with full military honors.
